A keepsake struck for the people who love this town, designed right here at home.
One side stockyards, one side Packers
The front carries the scene that built this city: the stockyard pens along the river, the bridge at sunset, and the name Packers, which this town earned in the packing plants. The back is for the generations who wore the helmet and laced up the skates.
The coin is being prepared as a community fundraiser. When it is released, residents will be able to buy one, and the proceeds will go back into local projects that make South St. Paul better.
